OUR POKER BEGINNINGS...

While we all began playing poker at different times, most of us began playing poker in the early 2000's (just before the poker boom that took place after the 2002 WSOP). At the beginning our home game we were lucky if we could get 5 players together for a game. When we began, our games were primarily dealer's choice cash games but with the ever increasing popularity of tournament poker we began running bi-weekly no limit hold-em tournaments.

GROWING THE HOME GAME...

Over the next couple of years our tournaments became more organized and the players began rolling in. By 2005 our invite list had grown from 7 players to just under 50 and we had to begin limiting the number of players in our tournaments to 20 per tournament. Although we realize the growth of our home game was aided by the poker boom in '03-'04, we believe the primary reason for the rapid growth of our game was the organization and consistent nature of our tournaments. Over time we developed favorable blind structures, good tournament structure and a "Player's Championship Series". All of these helped us   deliver a consistent tournament experience so our players knew what to expect for every      tournament. For more information on our home game click here.
