A look back (team history)

TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Our team was formed in February of 2006 and we didn't have to wait long until our first tournament cash. In late 2006 Deryl S took 10th in a $50 buy-in tournament giving him a totally payout of $100. Not exactly a ground breaking event but nonetheless the Brick House Poker Team was on their way.

A couple months later Deryl S was at it again, this time playing in a $200 World Series of Poker Satellite. This time he wasn't going to be content with 10th place, instead he beat the other 142 players in the field and took 1st! This victory not only netted us a couple thousand bucks but also qualified him to play at the 2007 WSOP Main Event!

Not wanting to be left out of all the fun, Bryan G played in the same tournament a couple months later and he took 1st by outlasting the other 186 players in his tournament. So now the dream has been realized and we have two players from our team playing in the 2007 WSOP Main Event!

WHY IS IT CALLED BRICK HOUSE POKER?

When the Brick House Poker game really began gaining some momentum our games were held at a house in the country between Fresno, CA and Sanger, CA. The interesting thing was that the whole house was made of brick walls which made for a really cool poker team name but also made it impossible to get a cell phone signal!
